mac wireless keyboard not working on boot up

The BootCamp control panel is not an option because Im on Catalina and apparently Windows and APFS doesnt play well. It works when I use my old wired Apple keyboard. Im using a Logitech MX Keys w/ wireless USB receiver. Is there anybody have the similar issues as i do? Any help would be appreciated. I just installed BootCamp on my 2013 Mac Pro and the option key doesnt seem to work when booting up. this way the problem was solved but it doesn't make me happy as i know there are issues out there wasn't solved. Since the usb won't work, I adjusted the ist file and made it skipped over the GUI screen and boots the default partition automatically.

I thought maybe it was the ist file but it just won't work no matter how i change this file.įurtunately, i don't have a dual boot and the OS X is the only partition I have on the harddrive. However it does work after i plug out the usb adapter/receiver and replug it in. I can't move the arrow keys to select/highlight the partition i want to boot up. Again for a Bluetooth keyboard, this needs to be done. I have no problem creating a bootable usb drive with yosemite and the whole installation process was very smoothly actually, however one thing that really bothers me is that my wireless USB keyboard and mouse won't work on Clover boot up GUI screen. A final approach to clearing these is to simply reset the systems PRAM by rebooting and holding down the Option-Command-P-R keys at startup. I tried switching ports for the keyboard, but nothing. Its not the USB ports because I can see 2 external hard drives showing on the desktop. It's a legacy BIOS and doesn't support UEFI. The power came back on and I started up again, everything looked normal, but my wireless mouse and wired keyboard are not working. Recently i installed Yosemite on my spare build, it's a very old build: There're lots of great guides so even a starter like me can install OS X on my computer.
